the process

ENGAGE

We make contact and talk over a preliminary brief where we define housekeeping and logistical aspects such as deadlines, terms and conditions, cost estimates, prerequisites, deposits and most importantly, a schedule for the project.

EXPLORE

This is where I get to really know you and your project intimately. We talk about your project’s motivations, objectives and inspirations and get clarity on the fundamentals such as your market, competitors, point of difference, deliverables, brand and so on. We’ll pull all this information together into a mood board showing visual style, colour schemes, imagery, typography and other design aspects that you can review before the design process starts.

CREATE

After you’re happy with your mood board, we’ll develop these ideas into more tangible concepts. We’ll design a draft for you to peruse, and hopefully, hit the mark with our interpretation. But, don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make changes in the next stage if needed.

REFINE

We understand that change is a constant, that’s why in the ‘refine’ stage, we revisit the draft concept, your brief and any developments along the way to ensure everything still lines up. Alterations can take some time so we’ll include three complimentary revisions and after which, a competitive hourly rate applies.

FINALISE

This is where I turn into a hyper-critical maniac, making sure every aspect of your piece is perfect in every way before we package it up for you. We can also liaise with a printer or other third party supplier if you wish.

SHINE

Now it’s time for you to launch and SHINE.
